Commissioning a Portrait

Each pet portrait is painted to capture the personality and spirit of your pet. They are painted in oil on canvas and acrylic on canvas. I work from photographs, either your favorite one or I’m happy to photograph your pet as well. I often prefer to, as it will allow me to meet and to get a feel for your pet’s personality. If you choose to send photographs, please send up to 7 different ones via email. This will help to make sure I capture the personality of your favorite pet.

50% nonrefundable deposit due to start painting. Remaining amount of commission due once the painting is completed. Full payment (+ shipping, if applicable) required before delivery. I usually ship via UPS or FedEx.

Turnaround time is 5 to 7 weeks maximum.
